Some of you may remember Sage from my comic/story. This drawing is from a much earlier period in her life.

She’s about 12 or 13 here, during her first days in the Academy of Magics. Coming from clan that lived on the remote Silent Mountain, the Academy was a pretty big culture shock for the ‘savage’ Sage.
Despite how it looks, the book she is holding is a language book (as Sage’s people have no written language, she has to learn to read and write) and the stick in her hand is a totem of her people, not a pencil. (At the time our story’s set, she wears it in her hair)
